during my stay, I thoroughly enjoyed the peacefulness of the cottage, which made it so easy to access Cedar Falls just a short walk away. The beautiful Old Man's Cave is less than two kilometers away and perfect for a weekend hike, it's great to find such stunning natural landmarks so close by to explore and enjoy the views while strolling through the area.

The cottage exceeded all expectations. It was spotless with a modern feel inside while being rustic outside. Loved the peaceful setting and attention to detail throughout the space. Breakfast in the historic cabin was fantastic, with a great variety to choose from. The complimentary options on the breakfast menu always hit the spot. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful, a true highlight of the stay. However, the dinner menu pricing was quite high compared to lunch and breakfast. We encountered issues during a couples massage, where we were charged more than originally quoted without prior notice. Despite that, the massage itself was excellent and very relaxing. The security code given to us for the cottage seemed concerning as it was written in ink on the railing, raising questions about safety. Would recommend improvements in communication about charges and security measures. Overall, a lovely getaway that offered tranquility and comfort, even with a few areas that could be enhanced.

The Cottage features a modern interior with rustic charm, creating a cozy ambiance that’s ideal for couples. The attention to detail is impressive, and the accommodation offers a two-person jacuzzi for a relaxing experience.
Dinner prices were a bit steep compared to lunch and breakfast options, which may catch you off guard. Some amenities, like the outdated games and a few cobwebs, come off as neglected, though the cleanliness generally holds up. Additionally, the security code for the cottage raised some concerns about safety, as it appears previous guests could easily access the same code.

The cottage interior was impressively modern and cozy.
I was disappointed by the overall dining experience, as the dinner prices were exorbitant compared to breakfast and lunch options. The game selection was outdated, and I noticed cobwebs in some corners, which detracted from an otherwise clean environment. The security code issue raised concerns about safety, as it seemed the code was not changed after previous guests.

The peaceful atmosphere was perfect for relaxation, and we enjoyed cozy nights by the fireplace. Breakfast included local products, particularly the homemade pastries, which we found delightful. However, dinner prices were unexpectedly high, and the quality didn't match the cost, with the pork chop being a letdown. Additionally, some amenities appeared outdated, such as the games available in the common area.

The cottage was a delightful surprise, complete with a cozy gas fireplace and a two-person jacuzzi where we unwound with a nice bottle of wine. I loved the chance to relax on the lovely porch swing while stargazing at night, and the breakfast in the historic cabin was a tasty highlight of our stay. Just a heads-up that dining can get a bit pricey, so check the menu first! 😊
